Calculation Methods
CO₂ Reduction per Capsule:
Each capsule weighs 2 grams and is made from plant-based materials.
The production of these plant-based materials emits approximately 1.4 kg of CO₂ per Kg, whereas the production of conventional plastic releases about 6 kg of CO₂ per Kg.
Formula: Number of capsules x 2g (weight) x (6-1.4) kg CO/kg ÷ 1000
Example: 1 million capsules = 1,000,000 × 0.002 kg × 4.6 kg CO₂/kg = 9,200 kg CO₂ = 9.2 tonnes CO₂
