Participant since January 2026, committed to the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, with an annual Communication on Progress. The Global Compact works towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals; Forward Faster is its initiative to speed up business action on them.
An institutional partnership with the City of Berlin: we are members of its alliance for a sustainable Berlin, working towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
Our project BioBrew Berlin, Zero Plastic, Zero Aluminium, was launched through the Global Goals Berlin platform as one of its projects for a more sustainable Berlin. The association is working to bring Expo 2035 to Berlin and backs civil-society projects towards the Paris climate goals.
Our management sets and supervises our sustainability targets. ESG performance is monitored quarterly and reported annually in line with GRI and UN Global Compact standards, with zero tolerance for corruption and fully traceable sourcing.

Method
Life-cycle assessment following ISO 14040/14044, cradle-to-gate. Fossil PP/PET capsules emit 6.0 kg CO₂ per kg of material, bio-based PLA/PHA 1.4 kg: 4.6 kg less, or 9.2 g per 2 g capsule. Electric air roasting adds a second saving: ≈ 0.4 kg CO₂ per kg of coffee, against ≈ 1.2 kg with gas roasting (− 67%).
